n8n-nodes-rue

an n8n community node that adds a Rue Render node: render a url or raw html
to pdf, png, or jpeg using the live rue render api
(https://rue.mossgate.dev/v1/render). each render is paid with x402 v2, usdc
on base. the buyer wallet signs an eip-3009 authorization gaslessly, so it
needs only usdc, no eth for gas.

Rue Render (rueRender)

inputs:

• source: url or html
• url or html (depending on source)
• format: pdf, png, or jpeg
• output binary field: name of the binary property to hold the file (default
  data)

output: the rendered file as binary data on each item, plus { format, bytes }
in json.

credential

Rue Render API (rueRenderApi)

• buyer private key: evm private key (0x hex) for a wallet holding usdc on base
• base rpc url: defaults to https://mainnet.base.org

fund the wallet with usdc on base (contract
0x833589fcd6edb6e08f4c7c32d4f71b54bda02913). no eth is required.

build

cd n8n-node
npm install
npm run build

this compiles the typescript to dist/ and copies the icon. npm run lint
runs a type-check only pass.

install into n8n (local test)

community nodes load from your n8n user folder. link the built package:

cd n8n-node
npm run build
mkdir -p ~/.n8n/nodes
cd ~/.n8n/nodes
npm install /home/nerorosa/Documents/autoincome/products/n8n-node

restart n8n. the "Rue Render" node appears in the node panel, and "Rue Render
API" appears under credentials. alternatively, once published, install it from
settings > community nodes by entering n8n-nodes-rue.

publish later

not published yet. when ready:

cd n8n-node
npm run build
npm login
npm publish --access public

the n8n-community-node-package keyword and the n8n field in package.json let
n8n discover and load it.
