n8n-nodes-schedulin
An n8n community node for Schedulin — schedule social media posts, upload media, and manage tags and channels from your n8n workflows.
It talks to Schedulin's public REST API (/v0). Full API docs: developers.schedulin.app.
Installation
In n8n, go to Settings → Community Nodes → Install and enter:
n8n-nodes-schedulin
Or follow the community nodes installation guide.
Credentials
- In the Schedulin dashboard, open Settings → API Keys and create a key (
sk_live_...). - In n8n, create a Schedulin API credential and paste the key.
The Host and Media CDN URL fields only need changing for self-hosted instances.
Operations
| Resource | Operations |
|---|---|
| Post | Create (draft / queue / schedule / now), Get, Get Many, Update, Delete, Publish Draft, Get Analytics |
| Social Account | Get Many, Get Next Queue Slots |
| Tag | Get Many, Create |
| Media | Upload (binary → hosted URL), Get, Get Many, Delete |
| Platform | Get Many (caption limits and media requirements per platform) |
Attaching media to a post
Media is attached by URL. Either pass any publicly reachable URL directly, or use Media → Upload first — it takes a binary input field, uploads the file to Schedulin's storage, and returns the hosted url to use in Post → Create.
Platform-specific settings
Some platforms need extra configuration (e.g. a Pinterest board ID). Use the Platform → Get Many operation to inspect each platform's requirements, and pass values via the Platform Configuration (JSON) field on Post → Create.

Alternative: MCP
Schedulin also exposes an MCP server at https://mcp.schedulin.app/mcp, usable with n8n's MCP Client node. That path lets an AI model choose which tools to call — better for open-ended agent workflows, less predictable for a fixed pipeline. See the n8n support article for both paths side by side.
Development
This package lives in the Schedulin monorepo (packages/n8n-nodes-schedulin).
pnpm build # compile to dist/ and copy assets
pnpm test # unit tests (vitest)
pnpm typecheck
To try it locally, link the built package into your n8n custom nodes directory:
pnpm build
mkdir -p ~/.n8n/custom
ln -s "$(pwd)" ~/.n8n/custom/n8n-nodes-schedulin
