Sharek n8n node

Sharek is a social media scheduling platform. This n8n community node lets you automate Sharek from your workflows — for example: load news from an RSS feed >> turn it into a post with AI >> schedule it to all your channels.

Operations

  • Create Post — schedule, draft, or immediately publish a post to one or more channels
  • Get Posts — list posts in a date range
  • Delete Post — delete a post by ID
  • Get Channels — list your connected channels (and their IDs)
  • Upload File — upload media from binary data
  • Generate Video — generate videos with AI
  • Video Function — call video helper functions (e.g. loading voices)

Credentials

  1. In Sharek, go to Settings and copy your Public API key.
  2. In n8n, create a Sharek API credential and paste the key.
  3. Leave Host as https://dash.sharek.app/api unless you run your own instance — then point it at your instance's API origin (note the /api suffix).

The credential has a built-in connection test, so n8n verifies the key when you save it.

Installation (quick installation)

  • Click on Settings
  • Click on Community Nodes
  • Click on Install
  • Add "n8n-nodes-sharek" to "npm Package Name"
  • Click on Install

Installation (non-docker - manual installation)

Go to your n8n installation usually located at ~/.n8n.
Check if you have the custom folder, if not create it and create a new package.json file inside.

mkdir -p ~/.n8n/custom
npm init -y

Then install the Sharek node package:

npm install n8n-nodes-sharek

For docker users (manual installation)

Create a new folder on your host machine, for example ~/n8n-custom-nodes, and create a new package.json file inside:

mkdir -p ~/n8n-custom-nodes
npm init -y

Install the Sharek node package:

npm install n8n-nodes-sharek

When you run the n8n docker container, mount the custom nodes folder to the container:
Add the following environment variable to your docker run command:

N8N_CUSTOM_EXTENSIONS="~/n8n-custom-nodes"
