Supermemory Memory

Use Supermemory as memory for AI agents — stores conversations and retrieves semantic user context

Supermemory Memory

AI-generated

Summary

Provides Supermemory-backed memory for AI agents: loads a user profile as system context and saves each conversation turn under a session ID.

Inputs

  • containerTag (required) — The user/space identifier for scoping memories (e.g. user ID, session scope). Sent as containerTag when retrieving a profile and included in containerTags when saving conversation messages.
  • sessionId — Unique conversation/session identifier. Defaults to the workflow execution ID. Used as conversationId when saving chat history.

Output shape

AiMemory output (single 'Memory' output)

Exposes an n8n AI Memory object that implements memoryKeys, loadMemoryVariables, and saveContext. It is not a regular data output; it is consumed by an AI Agent node.

Examples

Example 1: You are building a customer-support AI agent that should remember facts about each customer and recent conversation context across workflow runs. Connect this node to the agent's memory input, set Container Tag to the customer ID, and leave Session ID as the default execution ID or provide a persistent conversation ID.

A Supermemory Memory node is added as a Memory connector on an n8n AI Agent. Set Container Tag to the user or space identifier (e.g. a user ID) and optionally override Session ID.
