n8n-nodes-t3data-youtube-comments
An n8n community node that gets YouTube comments and replies from videos, Shorts, playlists or whole channels, with likes, reply counts, approximate dates, and pinned or hearted-by-creator flags. It runs the YouTube Comments Scraper Apify Actor by T3 Data.
- Top comments or newest first
- Optional replies, each linked to its parent comment
- Usable as an AI Agent tool in n8n
- Pay per comment: $1 per 1,000, and videos with comments turned off are free (billed through your Apify account)
Installation
In n8n, go to Settings → Community Nodes → Install, then enter:
n8n-nodes-t3data-youtube-comments
Credentials
You need an Apify account (the free plan includes monthly credit). Create an Apify API credential in n8n with your token from Apify Console → Settings → Integrations.
Usage
- Add the YouTube Comments (T3 Data) node.
- Add video, playlist or channel URLs, and set Max comments per video.
- Run it. Each output item is one comment or reply (
text,author,likeCount,replyCount,publishedAtApprox,isPinned,isHeartedByCreator,commentUrl). Videos without comments come back as free error items.
Typical workflows: competitor videos → comments → LLM sentiment summary → Slack; your new upload → newest comments daily → reply drafts; product reviews → complaints → Notion.
