Tapsaff WeatherInstall

Summary

Fetches current weather data for a specified location from the Taps-aff API.

Inputs

• location (required) — Location for which to retrieve weather data (default: Glasgow).

Output shape

object

Each successful request returns an object with the following fields: temp_c (number), temp_f (number), scots (string), taps_status (string). If the API returns an error field, the node throws a NodeOperationError; when continueOnFail is enabled, the error is emitted as an item with an error field instead.

Examples

Example 1: Single item workflow

Set Location to 'Edinburgh' (or leave default). The node calls https://www.taps-aff.co.uk/api/Edinburgh/ and returns { temp_c: 12.3, temp_f: 54.1, scots: 'dreich', taps_status: 'open' }.

Example 2: Multiple items with per‑item location

Using an expression like {{$json[‘city’]}} for Location allows each input item to specify its own city, producing a weather object for each.
