Overview

Authenticate Zalo users via QR code and automate messaging workflows with this node package. It provides a login trigger, a message sender, and user lookup tools for n8n users integrating with the Zalo social communication platform.

Nodes & Operations

Zalo Login By QR

• Default · Default — Starts a Zalo QR login and returns the QR code as a PNG binary so the workflow author can scan it. After login, it attempts to save the Zalo credentials using the required n8n API credential and optionally posts the login details to the configured callback URL.

Zalo Trigger

• Default · Default — Listens for selected Zalo events and starts the workflow with each event’s payload. Authenticate with the saved Zalo credential or provide cookie JSON, IMEI, and user agent directly.

Zalo Communication

Handles account profile retrieval, message sending (text or attachments), and user lookup by phone number, using either saved credentials or raw authentication data.

• Account · Get Info — Authenticates with Zalo and retrieves profile information for the currently logged-in account using fetchAccountInfo(). Choose n8n credentials or provide the cookie, IMEI, and user agent as raw values; the cookie must be valid JSON.
• Message · Send — Send a Zalo text message, attachments, or both to a user or group. Choose credential authentication or provide a cookie as JSON with the IMEI and user agent; the operation logs in to Zalo and sends the message to the specified thread.
• User · Find By Phone — Looks up a Zalo user by phone number after logging in with either saved n8n credentials or raw cookie, IMEI, and user agent values. Returns the lookup result or an error for each input item.

Credentials

Authentication can be performed by saving n8n credentials or by providing raw cookie JSON, IMEI, and user agent values.

Installation

Install as an n8n community node: in n8n, open Settings → Community nodes → Install and enter n8n-nodes-thieuhoa-zalo.
