Documentation

n8n-nodes-us-rfp-monitor

An n8n community node for the US Government RFP Monitor on Apify. Drop it into a workflow and get every new US government solicitation matching your business - SAM.gov plus state portals (VA, TX, FL, GA, NY, PA) - as JSON rows, alerted once each, straight into Slack, email or your pipeline tracker.

The monitor remembers what it has already told you, so a row always means a genuinely new opportunity - perfect for a daily scheduled workflow that stays quiet until there is something to bid on. No officer contact data is ever extracted.

Installation

In n8n: Settings → Community nodes → Install, enter:

n8n-nodes-us-rfp-monitor

Self-hosted alternative: npm install n8n-nodes-us-rfp-monitor

Credentials

The node runs the Actor on your Apify account: an API token from Apify Console → Settings → API & Integrations, or OAuth2 on n8n Cloud. Runs are billed per alert on your Apify account - a quiet day costs next to nothing (see the Actor page for pricing).

What you can build with it

  • Bid pipeline feed - Schedule (daily) → RFP monitor (your keywords + NAICS) → create a row in Notion/Airtable per new solicitation.
  • Team alerts - filter by state or agency, post each new opportunity to the right Slack channel.
  • Deadline guard - map responseDeadline into your calendar the moment an RFP appears.

Fields

The node exposes the Actor's full input: keywords, NAICS/PSC codes, agencies, states, set-aside filters, lookback window, alert mode and state store. Field help is built into the node. First run baselines; later runs alert only on never-seen opportunities.
