Fetches a webpage and uses AI to extract the requested structured fields. For each input item, it sends the URL, field definitions, and any configured scraping options to WebScraping.AI.
Inputs
- URL (required) — Target webpage URL.
- Fields to Extract (required) — JSON object mapping field names to descriptions, such as {"title":"Main product title","price":"Current product price"}. Invalid JSON causes an error.
- Additional Options — Optional scraping settings: proxy country, custom JavaScript, custom proxy, device emulation, JavaScript rendering, 404 or redirect error handling, HTTP headers, JavaScript and retrieval timeouts, proxy type, and a CSS selector to wait for. Headers must be valid JSON when provided.
Output shape
One n8n output item per input item, containing the API response in its json field.
JSON responses are parsed directly. Text, HTML, and XML responses are returned as {"data":"..."}; unparsable JSON is returned as {"raw":"..."}. With Continue On Fail enabled, failures produce {"error":"..."} items.
