Summary

Execute a web search across configurable providers and return per‑query results with provider metadata.

Inputs

• query (required) — The search query to execute
• mode — Search mode – auto fallback or specific provider
• provider — Search provider to use when mode is specific
• customPriority — Comma‑separated provider names in priority order (used in auto mode)
• options — Advanced search settings (maxResults, minResults, region, language, safeSearch, timeRange)

Output shape

array of result objects

Each result object includes success, results (array of search hits), provider, meta.attemptedProviders, mode and error if any; results is empty when no providers are configured or search fails.
