n8n-nodes-wellfound-jobs-api
An n8n community node for the Wellfound Jobs API on Apify. Search startup job listings from Wellfound (formerly AngelList Talent) and get one clean item per job: the full description, salary and equity parsed into numbers, and the hiring startup's signals including Y Combinator backing, top investors and funding stage.
Installation
In your self-hosted n8n: Settings, Community Nodes, Install, then enter:
n8n-nodes-wellfound-jobs-api
Accept the risk prompt and restart. The Wellfound Jobs node then appears in the node picker, and it works as an AI Agent tool too.
Credentials
You need an Apify API token. Get one free at apify.com, then add it in n8n as an Apify API credential (API key or OAuth2 both work).
Operations
Job, Search. Search startup jobs by role and location, with filters.
Parameters
| Parameter | Description |

| Roles | Role categories to search. Slugs such as software-engineer, or plain words that are mapped for you ("software" becomes software-engineer, "pm" becomes product-manager). |
| Locations | Location slugs such as san-francisco, new-york, london. Each role and location pair becomes its own search. |
| Remote Only | Return only jobs flagged as remote. |
| Keyword / Exclude Keyword | Narrow or drop jobs by phrase across title, description, company and location. |
| Job Type | Full-time, part-time, contract or internship. |
| Minimum / Maximum Salary | Salary floor and ceiling in USD per year. |
| Minimum Equity | Minimum equity grant percent. |
| Y Combinator Companies Only | Keep only YC-backed startups. |
| Top Investor Companies Only | Keep only startups backed by top investors. |
| Actively Hiring Companies Only | Keep only companies with the actively hiring badge. |
| Company Stage | Funding stage, for example early_stage. |
| Include Full Description | Include the full job description in each row. |
| Fetch Detail Page Enrichment | Add benefits, industry, company website, geo and structured salary. |
| Max Results | Maximum jobs returned across all searches. |

Choose an Output mode: Simplified (a small agent-friendly subset, forced when used as an AI tool), Raw (every field), or Selected Fields (pick your own).

Example workflows
1. Weekly remote startup jobs to Slack. Schedule Trigger (weekly), then Wellfound Jobs with Roles software-engineer, Remote Only on, Minimum Salary 150000, then Slack.
2. YC hiring tracker to a sheet. Schedule Trigger (daily), then Wellfound Jobs with Y Combinator Companies Only on, then Google Sheets append. Each row carries company stage and equity, so you can watch which YC startups are hiring and at what level.
Pricing
The node calls the Apify Actor, which bills per delivered job: a small charge per job row, plus separate small charges when the full description is included or detail enrichment is on. Jobs removed by your filters are not charged. Current pricing is on the Actor page.
