n8n-nodes-wireflow

An n8n community node for Wireflow - the AI media workflow canvas. Run your Wireflow workflows from n8n, wait for the render, and pull every generated image, video, or audio URL straight into your automation.

What it does

Wireflow is a node-based canvas for chaining AI media models (image, video, audio, 3D). This node wraps the Wireflow API so you can:

  • Browse the catalog of 130+ generation nodes.
  • List and fetch your saved workflows.
  • Fire a workflow run and continue immediately, or run it and wait for the finished assets.
  • Read execution history and details.

The Execute and Wait operation does the heavy lifting: it starts a run, polls until it finishes, and returns a flat outputs[] array - every asset URL tagged with its producing node type and a guessed MIME type - so you can drop it into a download, upload, or notification step without parsing nested execution JSON.

Installation

Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide:

Self-hosted n8n

  1. Go to Settings → Community Nodes.
  2. Select Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-wireflow and confirm.

The Wireflow node then appears in the node panel.

Credentials

  1. Create a Wireflow API key at Settings → API Keys in the Wireflow dashboard. Keys begin with sk- and are shown only once.
  2. In n8n, create a new Wireflow API credential and paste the key.
  3. Click Test - n8n calls GET /nodes to confirm the key is valid.

The key is sent as Authorization: Bearer sk-... on every request.

Operations

Workflow

Operation API call Notes
List GET /workflows All your workflows.
Get GET /workflows/{id} One workflow (includes recent executions).
Execute POST /workflows/{id}/execute Starts a run, returns the executionId immediately.
Execute and Wait execute + poll .../poll Waits (default 300s) and returns flattened outputs[].
Get Execution GET /workflows/executions/{id} Full details of one execution.
List Executions GET /workflows/{id}/executions Execution history for a workflow.

Catalog

Operation API call Notes
List Model Nodes GET /nodes The generation-node catalog. Optional Node Type Prefix filter (e.g. generate, video, process).

Examples

List your workflows - Resource Workflow, Operation List. Returns one item per workflow.

Find every video node - Resource Catalog, Operation List Model Nodes, Node Type Prefix video. Returns only video:* nodes.

Run a workflow and collect assets - Resource Workflow, Operation Execute and Wait, Workflow ID cmr4fa6hi001ql704r7ke2ut6, Timeout 300. Output:

{
  "executionId": "39ed84d9-1ed0-4ae9-bfcd-aa7976a5b402",
  "status": "COMPLETED",
  "timedOut": false,
  "error": null,
  "outputs": [
    {
      "url": "https://cdn.wireflow.ai/8824ff80.png",
      "nodeId": "1751520000002",
      "nodeType": "generate:nano_banana_lite",
      "mimeType": "image/png"
    },
    {
      "url": "https://cdn.wireflow.ai/aa615760.mp4",
      "nodeId": "1751520000003",
      "nodeType": "video:gemini_omni_flash_t2v",
      "mimeType": "video/mp4"
    }
  ]
}

Fire and forget - Resource Workflow, Operation Execute. Returns { "executionId": "..." } right away; poll later with Get Execution or List Executions.

Feed inputs - In Execute / Execute and Wait, set the Inputs field to a JSON body such as { "triggerData": { "prompt": "a neon city" } }. Leave it as {} to run the workflow exactly as saved.

Compatibility

  • Requires n8n with community-node support (Settings → Community Nodes).
  • Node.js >= 20.15.
  • No runtime dependencies.
