An n8n community node that finds the companies using Workday and every career site each one runs. Give it a company name and get the tenant, datacenter, careers URL, the direct jobs API URL, and a live open-role count as structured items, one per career site. Turn on Discover All to enumerate companies using Workday in bulk.

Backed by the Workday Career Sites API Actor on Apify. Pay per result, no key to manage inside n8n beyond your Apify credential, and it works as an AI agent tool.

What it does

  • Resolve a company name or domain to its Workday tenant, datacenter, and career sites
  • Enumerate companies using Workday in bulk with Discover All
  • Return the direct jobs API URL for each site, ready to POST
  • Report a live open-role count per site
  • Return every career site a company runs, not just the main board

Installation

In your self-hosted n8n:

  1. Go to Settings, then Community Nodes.
  2. Click Install.
  3. Enter n8n-nodes-workday-career-sites-api as the npm package name.
  4. Agree to the risks of using community nodes and click Install.

The node then appears in the node picker as Workday Career Sites.

Credentials

You need an Apify API token. Get one free at apify.com, then in n8n add an Apify API credential (API key), or use Apify OAuth2. The node supports both.

Operation

Input

Field Type Description
Companies list Company names or domains, for example nvidia or cadence.com. Each returns every career site it runs.
Discover All Companies boolean Enumerate companies using Workday in bulk instead of a named list.
Verify Sites Are Live boolean Check each site and record its live open-role count. On by default.
Include Unverified Sites boolean Also return sites that failed verification.
Maximum Results number Cap on companies processed in Discover All mode.
Index Depth number How many index snapshots to combine in Discover All mode.

Output

Choose how much to return with the Output parameter: Simplified (a compact set, default and forced when used as an AI tool), Raw (every field), or Selected Fields (pick your own).

Example workflows

Resolve a company to its career sites. Manual Trigger, then Workday Career Sites with Companies set to nvidia and kla. You get one item per career site with the careers URL and jobs API URL.

Build a list of companies using Workday. Schedule Trigger (weekly), then Workday Career Sites with Discover All Companies on and Maximum Results at 100. Send the items to a Google Sheet or your CRM to keep a Workday customer list fresh.
