Official n8n community node for WP Sender — a powerful WhatsApp automation and OTP platform.

With this node, you can integrate WhatsApp messaging, media delivery, interactive buttons, OTP verification, and session triggers directly into your n8n workflows without manually building HTTP requests.

    • Messages:
      • Send Text Messages (single or bulk with comma-separated numbers).
      • Send Media (Images, Videos, PDFs, Audio) directly from URL.
      • Send Interactive Button Messages (Buttons with custom callback IDs).
      • Check Message Balance and Subscription limits.
      • View Message Delivery Statistics.
    • OTP:
      • Send OTP codes with optional custom templates ({OTP_CODE}).
      • Verify OTP codes entered by users.
      • View OTP statistics.
    • Sessions:
      • List WhatsApp sessions.

Installation

In n8n (Community Nodes UI)

  1. Open your n8n instance.
  2. Go to Settings > Community Nodes.
  3. Click Install a community node.
  4. Enter n8n-nodes-wpsender in the package name field.
  5. Check the agreement checkbox and click Install.

Manual Installation (Self-Hosted / Docker)

Run the following command in your custom n8n directory:

npm install n8n-nodes-wpsender

Or mount it inside your Docker container:

docker run -it --rm \
  --name n8n \
  -p 5678:5678 \
  -v ~/.n8n:/home/node/.n8n \
  n8nio/n8n

Credentials

  1. In n8n, create a new credential for WP Sender API.
  2. Base URL: Default is https://backendapi.wpsenderx.com/api (or your custom server URL).
  3. API Key: Enter your secret API key (starts with sk_live_...).

Local Development & Testing

# 1. Install dependencies
npm install

# 2. Build TypeScript and copy icons
npm run build

# 3. Link package locally for testing with n8n
npm link

# 4. In your n8n installation directory (~/.n8n/custom)
npm link n8n-nodes-wpsender
