n8n-nodes-yandex-reverse-image-search-api
An n8n community node that runs a reverse image search on Yandex and returns structured results: matching pages, visually similar images, other sizes of the same image, descriptive tags, shopping matches, and knowledge graph entries. It is backed by the Yandex Reverse Image Search API on Apify and bills per result, so there are no subscriptions and no minimums.

What it does
Give the node the public URL of an image, and it returns one item per result. Turn result types on or off so you pay only for what you need, and it also works as an AI Agent tool, so an agent can find where an image appears on demand.
- Find pages where an image (or a close match) appears online
- Discover visually similar images, other resolutions, and descriptive tags
- Get shopping matches and a knowledge graph entity card when available
- Search from a chosen regional Yandex domain, and optionally crop the image first
- Choose how much data to return per result: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields
Installation
Follow the n8n community nodes installation guide:
- In n8n, open Settings > Community Nodes.
- Select Install.
- Enter
n8n-nodes-yandex-reverse-image-search-apias the npm package name. - Agree to the risks of using community nodes, then select Install.
After it installs, the Yandex Reverse Image Search node appears in the nodes panel.
n8n Cloud only allows verified community nodes. Until this node is verified, install it on a self-hosted n8n instance.
Credentials
You need a free Apify account and an API token.
- Sign in to the Apify Console.
- Open Settings > Integrations and copy your Personal API token.
- In n8n, create a new Apify API credential and paste the token.
- Use the credential's Test button to confirm it works.
The node also supports Apify OAuth2 if you prefer to connect that way.
Operations
Image > Reverse Search searches by an image URL and returns one item per result.
| Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Image URL | Public http(s) URL of the image to search by. Required. |
| Result Types | Which result types to collect: Matching Pages, Similar Images, Image Sizes, Image Tags, Shopping Matches, Knowledge Graph. |
| Yandex Domain | Regional Yandex domain to search from, for example yandex.com. |
| Crop Box | Optional crop applied before searching, as left;top;right;bottom fractions. |
| Maximum Results | Cap the total number of result rows returned and billed. 0 returns everything. |
| Output | How much data to return: Simplified, Raw, or Selected Fields. |
Output
Each result is returned as its own n8n item, tagged with a result_type discriminator (matching_page, similar_image, image_size, image_tag, shopping_result, knowledge_graph, no_results, or error). The API returns more than ten fields per result, so the Output parameter lets you choose how much to return:
- Simplified (default): a compact object with
result_type,position,title,link,thumbnail,source, andsnippet. This mode is also used automatically when the node runs as an AI Agent tool, to keep responses small. - Raw: every field the API returns for each result, using the original field names below.
- Selected Fields: pick exactly which fields to include.

Pricing
This node calls the Yandex Reverse Image Search API on Apify, which is billed pay-per-result, with no subscription and no minimums. Each returned result row is billed at a single per-result rate, so turning off result types you do not need lowers the cost. Apify also includes a free monthly usage tier that covers typical volumes. See the Actor page for current rates.
