Summary

Send a custom request directly to the Yext Chat API with configurable HTTP request options.

Inputs

• Request Options — Configure HTTP request behavior, including batching (items per batch and batch interval in milliseconds), SSL certificate validation bypass, proxy settings, and request timeout in milliseconds.

Output shape

a list of items representing the responses from the Yext Chat API requests

Supports input item batching for throttling requests. Responses correspond to each input item or batch. Errors may occur if invalid options are provided or if the API request fails.

Examples

Example 1: Make a request to the Yext Chat API with default options for a single item.

Use default batching settings (50 items per batch, 1000ms interval), no SSL bypass, no proxy, and 10-second timeout.

Example 2: Throttle requests by batching input items into groups of 10 with 2 seconds interval.

Set 'Items per Batch' to 10 and 'Batch Interval (ms)' to 2000 in Request Options to avoid hitting API rate limits.
