Summary

Search YouTube for videos matching a specified query and return up to a maximum number of results.

Inputs

• Query (required) — The search term to find relevant YouTube videos.
• Max Results — The maximum number of videos to return, between 1 and 100 (default is 10).

Output shape

A list of video items, each containing detailed metadata such as videoId, title, URL, description, duration (formatted and seconds), view count, upload date, author details (name, URL, channelId), and thumbnails.

Up to the specified Max Results number of video objects are returned. On failure, if configured to continue on fail, items with an error message are returned instead of halting execution.
