Summary

Import leads into a specified Za-zu campaign by providing lead details and defining any new custom fields.

Inputs

• Authentication (required) — Select API Key authentication to authorize the request.
• Campaign (required) — Select the target campaign by name or ID where the leads will be imported.
• Leads (required) — Provide details of one or multiple leads, including email, first name, last name, and optional custom fields for each lead.
• New Custom Fields (required) — Define new custom fields by specifying their name and type (Text, Number, or Boolean) that should be created during the import if they don't already exist.

Output shape

a single response object indicating the result of the import operation

The operation sends a POST request to /rest/v1/rpc/import_leads with the leads and campaign data in the body. The response body shape depends on the Za-zu API's response to the import request.

Example 1: Import a batch of leads with custom fields into a selected campaign

Use API key authentication, select the campaign by searchable name list or ID, input one or more leads with their email and name plus any custom fields, and define any new custom fields to create.
