n8n community nodes for Weixin bot integration through the official OpenClaw Weixin channel protocol.

Installation

npm install @wuzhihao/n8n-nodes-weixin-bot

Then install as an n8n community node from the UI, or add it to your custom nodes setup.

Included Nodes

  • Weixin Trigger: long-polls getupdates and emits each incoming message.
  • Weixin: sends message to a target user.
    • text
    • image/video/file (via getuploadurl + CDN upload + sendmessage)

Credential: Weixin Bot

Credential name in node code: weixinBotApi.

Fields:

  • Gateway Base URL: OpenClaw gateway base URL.
  • Bot Token: token for Authorization: Bearer.
  • WeChat UIN Header (optional): X-WECHAT-UIN; leave empty for auto-generated base64 random uint32.
  • Poll Timeout (ms): timeout for trigger long-poll.

Login flow guidance:

  1. Use OpenClaw login command:
    • openclaw channels login --channel openclaw-weixin
  2. Complete QR scan or link flow in OpenClaw.
  3. Put the issued bot token into the n8n credential.

Trigger Output

Trigger emits raw message payload and includes current get_updates_buf cursor:

  • from_user_id
  • to_user_id
  • context_token
  • item_list
  • other upstream fields

Send Node Usage

Required:

  • To User ID
  • Message Type (Text or Media)

Optional:

  • Context Token (recommended when replying in-thread)
  • Text (for caption or plain text send)

Media source:

  • Binary property (Input Binary Field)
  • URL (Media URL)
