Summary

Create a new customer record in the FlexPoint system by providing required and optional customer information.

Inputs

• name (required) — The name of the customer.
• email (required) — The email address of the customer.
• additionalFields — Optional additional customer details including address, city, state, zip, telephone, country, website, external URI, metadata, first name, and last name.
• options — Optional settings such as custom JSON body to merge with standard fields, custom HTTP headers, query-string filters, batching controls, debug mode, and timeout settings.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the created customer record.

The returned data includes the response from the FlexPoint API after successfully creating the customer record. If debug mode is enabled, an additional entry with the HTTP request details is included in the output.

Example 1: Creating a basic customer record with mandatory fields

Set 'Name' and 'Email' fields with customer info; optionally add any additional fields such as address or phone number in 'Additional Fields'.
