Summary

Edit or set metadata properties of a PDF document by providing its document ID or uploading a new file. Specify metadata fields like title, author, creation/modification dates, keywords, subject, and creator to update the PDF's information.

Inputs

• Document (required) — Specify the PDF document to edit metadata for, either by ID or by uploading a file (when Use Binary Input is enabled).
• Use Binary Input — Enable to upload a new PDF file to set metadata for instead of editing an existing document by ID.
• PDF Metadata — Provide any combination of metadata fields to set, including Author, Creation Date, Creator, Keywords (comma-separated), Modification Date, Subject, and Title.
• Task Description — Optionally add a description for the metadata editing task to identify it.
• Wait for Completion — Choose whether to wait for the task to complete and return the updated files immediately, or return immediately with a task ID to check later.

Output shape

a JSON object representing the result of the metadata editing task, which may include task ID and status information.

If 'Wait for Completion' is enabled, the node waits for the process to finish and returns the resulting files. Otherwise, it returns immediately with the task ID, and outputs can be fetched later using a separate operation.
