Summary

Answer a question using Outline Documents with optional filtering and request configuration.

Inputs

• query — The question to ask the Outline Documents API. Defaults to 'What is our holiday policy?' when omitted in the workflow.
• userId — Filter documents that have not been edited by the specified user identifier.
• collectionId — Search within the specified collection.
• documentId — Search within the specified document.
• statusFilter — Filter documents by status. Options: draft, archived, published. Defaults to draft.
• dateFilter — Filter documents not updated within the specified period. Options: day, week, month, year. Defaults to day.
• requestOptions — Configure request batching and throttling. Includes batch size and batch interval settings.
• allowUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept the response even if SSL certificate validation is not possible. Defaults to false.
• proxy — HTTP proxy to use for the request. Format: http://username:password@host:port.
• timeout — Timeout in milliseconds to wait for the server to send response headers before aborting the request. Defaults to 10000.

Output shape

The raw HTTP response from the Outline Documents API. Exact payload shape depends on the API endpoint and is not explicitly declared in the node's source or properties.

Returned data is not further transformed by this operation's declared configuration.

Examples

Example 1: Query the default holiday policy question.

Use default query, no filters, default timeout.

Example 2: Search for published documents in a specific collection updated within the last week.

Set query to target question, collectionId to target ID, statusFilter to published, dateFilter to week.
