AI-generatedSummary
Inserts one or more rows into a Supabase table.
Inputs
- input (required) — Each item provides the data for a row to insert. In Simple UI mode, data is taken from the Columns collection (column name → value). In Advanced UI mode, data is taken from the JSON Data field (a JSON object). If no input items are provided, the node still runs once using the configured parameters.
Output shape
json
Each output item contains the inserted row as returned by Supabase (including defaults and generated values). If the insert returns no data, a placeholder item
{ json: { data: [], operation: 'create', table } }is returned. When multiple input items are processed, rows are inserted in batches of up to 500 and the output preserves the order of successful inserts.
Examples
Example 1: Simple mode – insert a single row with columns name and email
UI Mode: Simple; Table: users; Columns: [{ name: 'name', value: '={{ $json.name }}' }, { name: 'email', value: '={{ $json.email }}' }]
Example 2: Advanced mode – insert multiple rows from previous node JSON
UI Mode: Advanced; Table: orders; JSON Data: {{$json}}
