Summary

Create a dossier in a case file using a dossier template. The node sends the supplied dossier details to GoCertius and returns the created dossier data, including its dossier ID.

Inputs

  • Case File ID (required) — ID of the case file that will contain the dossier.
  • Dossier Template ID (required) — UUID of the template to use. The template determines whether template field values are required.
  • Name (required) — Dossier name.
  • Language (required) — Language for generated documents and notices: English (UK), Portuguese (Portugal), or Spanish (Spain). Defaults to English (UK).
  • Validity From (required) — ISO 8601 start datetime; if left empty, the node uses the current time.
  • Validity To (required) — ISO 8601 end datetime; if left empty, the node uses one year from the current time.
  • Purpose — Optional dossier purpose.
  • ID — Optional UUID v4. If omitted, the node generates one and includes it in the output as the dossier ID.
  • Model ID — Optional model ID.
  • Filled Fields — Optional JSON object of template field values; some templates require specific values.
  • Access Token — Optional access token included in the request body.

Output shape

A single n8n item containing the API response object for the created dossier.

The node uses the required GoCertius API credentials. Its operation description says creation returns a dossierId. If the API response omits the ID and the node generated it, the node adds dossierId and id to the output. Creating the dossier does not link evidence or certify it; link evidence afterward and then certify the dossier.
