Summary

Fetch image search results from Google.

Inputs

• q (required) — Search query term for retrieving image results.
• location — Google canonical location for the search.
• uule — The encoded location parameter.
• domain — Google domain to use. Default is google.com.
• gl — The two-letter country code for the country you want to limit the search to.
• hl — The two-letter language code for the language you want to use for the search.
• ijn — Page number for paginated results, where 0 is the first page.
• tbs — tbs parameter for the Google Images API customizes image search results with various filters.
• safe — Adult Content Filtering option.
• filter — Enables or disables filters for 'Similar Results' and 'Omitted Results'.
• deviceType — Specify the device type for the search.

Output shape

a list of image result objects

Pagination may return multiple items; some fields are optional, and errors are returned as a standard error envelope.

Examples

Example 1: Search for cat pictures in the US using default settings.

Set q='cats', leave all other parameters at their defaults.

Example 2: Search for large, black-and-white images in Japan on the second page.

Set q='mountains', gl='jp', hl='ja', safe='off', tbs='isz:m,ic:gray', ijn=1, deviceType='desktop'.

Example 3: Limit results to the Google Japan domain and retrieve the first page.

Set q='sushi', domain='google.co.jp', gl='jp', ijn=0.
