Summary

Save usage lines to the Pax8 API.

Inputs

• baseUrl — Base URL for the Pax8 API. Defaults to https://api.pax8.com.
• subscriptionId — query parameter
• externalSubscriptionId — query parameter
• billingPeriod (required) — Billing period with format yyyy-MM
• overwriteSameDayUsage — When set to false, usage lines for the same summary key will be appended instead of replacing existing same-day lines
• body (required) — Request body as JSON.

Output shape

API response confirming the save operation, typically including status and any created/updated usage line records.

All parameters except billingPeriod and body are optional query parameters. The body JSON must contain the usage line data structure expected by the Pax8 API.

Examples

Example 1: Save usage lines for a billing period

Set billingPeriod to the target period (e.g., '2024-01'), provide the body with usage data, and optionally filter with subscriptionId or externalSubscriptionId.
