Summary

Upload a file to HeyGen as an asset, using either binary data from the incoming item or a file URL. Returns HeyGen’s upload response for each input item.

Inputs

• Authentication — Choose OAuth2 (default) or a legacy API key to authenticate the upload.
• Binary Data — When enabled, upload data from the incoming item’s binary field; when disabled, fetch the file from File URL.
• Binary Property (required) — Binary field name on the incoming item to upload; shown when Binary Data is enabled and defaults to data.
• File URL — URL of the file to fetch and upload; shown when Binary Data is disabled.

Output shape

One output item per input item, with the HeyGen upload response in its json field.

Binary uploads use the binary field’s filename and MIME type when available. URL uploads fetch the file first and infer its MIME type from response headers or a recognized filename extension. Missing binary data, a missing binary property, an empty URL, or an empty upload response causes an error; with Continue On Fail enabled, the item instead contains an error field.
