Summary

Update properties of an existing Private Cross-Connect (PCC) in IONOS Cloud by specifying its ID and providing new values for its name and optionally its description.

Inputs

• PCC ID (required) — The unique identifier of the Private Cross-Connect to update.
• Name (required) — The new name to assign to the Private Cross-Connect.
• Description — An optional new description for the Private Cross-Connect.
• Include Request Status — Boolean to indicate if request tracking ID and status URL should be included in the output for asynchronous operations.
• Include Response Headers — Boolean to indicate if HTTP response headers and status code should be included alongside the response body.

Output shape

An object representing the updated Private Cross-Connect properties, optionally including request status information and/or HTTP response headers if requested.

By default, the output contains only the updated PCC data. Enabling 'Include Request Status' adds asynchronous operation tracking details. Enabling 'Include Response Headers' nests the response body under a 'body' key and includes 'headers' and 'statusCode' fields alongside it. No pagination applies.

Examples

Example 1: Update a Private Cross-Connect's name and description.

Set the PCC ID of the target PCC, provide a new name and optionally a description, then execute this operation to modify the resource accordingly.
