Summary

Create a new Addigy policy

Inputs

• name (required) — Name of the policy
• description — Policy description
• parent_policy_id — Parent policy to inherit from
• color — Color for the policy in the UI

Output shape

a single policy record

The created policy object returned by the Addigy API, containing at least its ID and name; additional fields depend on Addigy response.

Example 1: Create a policy named 'Test Policy'

Example 2: Create a policy inheriting from an existing policy
