Summary

Sign an arbitrary string message using the Ethereum wallet's private key associated with the node's credentials.

Inputs

• Message (required) — The string message that you want to cryptographically sign with the Ethereum private key.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the original message, the generated signature, and the signer's Ethereum address.

Each input item produces an output item paired by index. The output includes the fields: message (input string), signature (signed message as a hex string), and signerAddress (Ethereum address derived from the private key). Errors during signing will stop the execution unless 'Continue On Fail' is enabled, in which case the error message is included in the output.

Examples

Example 1: Signing a text message

Set Resource to 'Wallet', Operation to 'Sign Message', and provide the 'Message' parameter with the text to sign.
