Summary

Retrieve detailed information about a specific Unity Catalog table by specifying its full name in the format catalog.schema.table.

Inputs

• Table (required) — The full name of the Unity Catalog table to access, specified either by selecting from a searchable list of tables or by entering the full table name as 'catalog.schema.table'.

Output shape

a single record containing detailed metadata and information about the specified Unity Catalog table

The operation returns a JSON object with the Unity Catalog table details as provided by the Databricks API endpoint /api/2.1/unity-catalog/tables/{fullName}. Errors are thrown if the table does not exist or the request fails.
