Summary

Retrieve all positions from the Interactive Brokers account connected via the TWS API.

Inputs

None.

Output shape

a list of position objects, each including account identifier and position details (e.g., contract details, quantity, market value).

The node returns all current positions mapped by account. If no positions are found or the API connection is not established, a message object is returned instead. The operation requires valid Interactive Brokers API credentials and an active connection to TWS or IB Gateway. Execution waits approximately 5 seconds to collect position updates before returning data.
