Overview

This node allows you to delete a Note resource in Odoo via the Odoo API. It is useful for automating the removal of notes from your Odoo system, such as cleaning up outdated or irrelevant notes as part of a workflow. For example, you might use this node to automatically delete notes associated with completed tasks or obsolete records.

Output

• On successful deletion, the output will be an array containing a JSON object indicating the result of the operation. The structure typically includes confirmation of deletion, but may vary depending on the underlying Odoo API response.
• If an error occurs and "Continue On Fail" is enabled, the output will include an error field with the error message.

Dependencies

• Odoo API: Requires access to an Odoo instance with valid credentials (URL, username, password, and database name).
• n8n Credentials: You must configure Odoo API credentials in n8n under the name odooApi.

Troubleshooting

• Invalid Credentials: If the credentials are incorrect, you may receive errors such as "Credentials are not valid." Ensure that the URL, username, password, and database name are correct.
• Note Not Found: If the provided Note ID does not exist, the node may return an error like "Record not found."
• Insufficient Permissions: If the user does not have permission to delete notes, the operation will fail. Check user permissions in Odoo.
• Connection Issues: Network problems or incorrect Odoo URL can cause connection failures.
