Feed → Get Timeline Feed
AI-generatedSummary
Fetches the logged-in Instagram account’s timeline feed and returns a page of post summaries with pagination information. Use Max ID to supply a cursor from a previous call; leave it empty to request the first page.
Inputs
- Max ID — Pagination cursor from a previous call. Empty by default; the implementation passes it to the client, but the client currently does not use it in its feed request.
- Delay Between Items (Ms) — When the node receives multiple input items, delays requests for items after the first by a random amount between this value and twice the value. Defaults to 2000 ms; set to 0 to disable.
- Instagram API credentials (required) — A logged-in Instagram session is required. The node accepts Session Data, Session ID plus CSRF Token, or Username plus Password.
Output shape
A single JSON object per input item, containing items (an array of post summaries), more_available (whether more feed data is available), and next_max_id (the cursor returned by Instagram).
Each post summary includes identifiers, shortcode, timestamp, media type, caption, like and comment counts, and basic user details. The source maps the first feed response returned by the client; it does not apply the supplied Max ID, so this operation does not currently advance pagination using that input. Requires a private API compatible session; Session ID plus CSRF Token credentials are marked web-only and are rejected for this operation.
Examples
Example 1: Get the logged-in account’s timeline feed
Select Feed → Get Timeline Feed and authenticate with Instagram credentials. Leave Max ID empty for the first request. If multiple input items cause multiple requests in one execution, the default 2000 ms delay setting adds a random 2–4 second pause before requests after the first. The result contains a page of post summaries and Instagram’s more_available and next_max_id pagination fields.
