Summary

Delete a specified asset from the MediaCockpit DAM system by its Asset ID.

Inputs

• Asset ID (required) — String ID of the asset to delete; this is mandatory for the delete operation.

Output shape

The updated input item's JSON is returned, augmented with a property 'deleteResult' containing the API's response to the deletion request.

If the Asset ID is not provided, the operation throws an error. The operation does not return a separate list but updates each input item with the deletion result under 'deleteResult'. Errors are handled according to node settings (continue on fail or stop). The session is authenticated before the request and logged out after.

Example 1: Delete a single asset by ID

Set 'operation' to 'delete' and provide the 'Asset ID' string corresponding to the asset to remove.
