Summary

Retrieve detailed information about a specific asset by its ID from the MediaCockpit DAM system, optionally customizing the output format with a JSON build configuration.

Inputs

• Asset ID (required) — The ID of the asset to retrieve.
• Build JSON — Optional custom JSON build configuration to control the output format. Leave as {} to get the default output.

Output shape

a single JSON object representing the asset details

Returns one JSON object with detailed information of the asset identified by the given asset ID. If a custom build JSON is provided, it controls the format of the output. Throws an error if the asset ID is missing or if the build JSON is invalid.

Examples

Example 1: Retrieve asset with ID '12345' with default output

Set 'Asset ID' to '12345' and leave 'Build JSON' as {}. The node fetches and returns the asset's detailed JSON information.

Example 2: Retrieve asset with ID '12345' with custom build JSON

Set 'Asset ID' to '12345' and provide a valid JSON string to 'Build JSON' to customize the output format.
