Summary

List all nodes that are descendants of a specific ancestor node or collection in MediaCockpit PIM.

Inputs

• Ancestor (Parent/collection) ID (required) — Key or ID of the ancestor node or collection whose descendant nodes you want to list.
• Return All Results — Choose whether to return all matching nodes or limit the number of results.
• Limit — Maximum number of nodes to return if 'Return All Results' is set to false.

Output shape

a list of node objects each representing a node descendant of the specified ancestor, returned as individual items in the output, or an empty list if no nodes match.

If no nodes are found, the output will include an empty array property named after the pluralized entity (e.g., 'nodes'). Results are paginated internally to fulfill 'Return All' or 'Limit' settings.

Examples

Example 1: List nodes with ancestor ID '12345', returning up to 50 results

Provide '12345' for Ancestor ID, set 'Return All' to false, and 'Limit' to 50. The node outputs up to 50 descendant nodes of ancestor '12345'.
