Summary

Create a folder in an Infisical project and environment

Inputs

• name (required) — Folder name
• projectId (required) — Project to operate on, selected from list or provided as ID
• environment (required) — Environment slug (e.g., dev, staging, prod) where the folder will be created
• path — Parent folder path; defaults to root ('/')
• additionalFields — Optionally add fields such as description
• requestOptions — Optional request settings like batching, timeout, proxy, SSL bypass
• ignoreUnauthorizedCerts — Whether to accept invalid SSL certificates
• proxy — HTTP proxy URL, optionally with authentication
• timeout — Request timeout in milliseconds

Output shape

The created folder object returned by Infisical

Includes folderId, path, and any additional fields defined in the request; may contain pagination or error envelope depending on requestOptions.
