Summary

Generate asynchronous jobs to create similar image variations based on a reference image uploaded to Firefly storage.

Inputs

• Reference Image Upload ID (required) — The upload ID from Firefly storage API of the reference image used to generate similar variations.
• Similar Image Options — Optional settings for generation including Firefly model version (Image 3, Image 4 Standard, Image 4 Ultra), number of variations (1-4), comma-separated seeds for consistent generation (must match number of variations if specified), and output image size (multiple preset resolutions).

Output shape

A JSON object representing the job submission response containing job details for the asynchronous image generation request.

This operation initiates an async job for generating image variations; output includes job identifiers and status. Further calls to the Get Job Status operation may be required to check completion.

Examples

Example 1: Generate 2 similar images variations using Image 4 Ultra model with a specific reference image upload ID and default size.

Set Reference Image Upload ID to the Firefly storage upload ID, set Similar Image Options Model Version to Image 4 Ultra, Number of Variations to 2, leave Seeds and Size to defaults.
