Summary

SSG node operation for adding metadata to music files in n8n workflows.

Inputs

• resource (required) — Lookup resource type
• operation (required) — Add operation to metadata
• name (required) — Unique identifier for the Uniq or lookup collection
• leftValue (required) — The left-side value in the lookup mapping, typically an ID from one system
• rightValue (required) — The right-side value in the lookup mapping, typically the corresponding ID from another system

Output shape

metadata_complete

Metadata now includes title case, track numbers, genre tags, cover art, and album complete status.

Examples

Example 1: Initial setup

Install n8n, set up credentials for music services (@PopHits, @BuddyMedia, @RallyLighting, @Kobalt), then create a new workflow and add the SSG node.

Example 2: Metadata configuration

Configure SSG node to set title case, track numbers, genre tags, and cover art. Set album complete status and set up watched folders for automatic processing.

Example 3: Finalization

Configure album tags (two sets), adjust options menu, and mark workflow as finished.
