Summary

Starts or updates a managed Live Activity stream identified by a stable stream key. Sends the selected activity content and optional channel targeting or action settings to ActivitySmith for each input item.

Inputs

• Stream Key (required) — Stable identifier for the managed stream, such as a deployment or server name.
• Title (required) — Title shown in the Live Activity.
• Subtitle — Optional subtitle.
• Channels — Comma-separated channel slugs to target; when empty, the API key scope determines recipients.
• Activity Type (required) — Choose segmented progress, continuous progress, or metrics. Countdown is not available.
• Progress fields — For segmented progress, provide Current Step and Number of Steps. For continuous progress, provide Percentage or both Value and Upper Limit; percentage takes precedence. Metrics activities require at least one metric and allow up to two, each with a label, optional unit, and numeric value.
• Color — Optional accent color for progress activity types; defaults to blue.
• Step Color — Optional color for segmented progress steps; empty inherits the accent color.
• Action — Optionally add an Open URL or Webhook action with a title and URL. Webhook actions can use GET or POST and an optional JSON object body.

Output shape

A list of output items, one per input item, containing the ActivitySmith API response.

The request uses PUT on the stream endpoint. Object responses are returned directly as each item's JSON; other response values are wrapped in a response field. With Continue On Fail enabled, failed items contain their original input JSON and an error.
