Summary

Update a lead tag by its Tag ID with specified attributes using either form data or raw JSON body.

Inputs

• Tag ID (required) — Unique identifier of the lead tag to update.
• Body Type — Specify whether to send the update data as form fields or raw JSON.
• Body (JSON) — Raw JSON string describing the lead tag's attributes to update, used if Body Type is JSON.
• Name (required) — Name of the lead tag, required if using form data.
• Order — Display order of the tag; set to 0 to omit, used if Body Type is form.
• Color — Hex color code for the tag, used if Body Type is form.

Output shape

a single updated lead tag object reflecting the changes

Returns the updated lead tag data on success. Input fields depend on Body Type: either form parameters or a JSON body string. The Tag ID is required to identify which tag to update.

Examples

Example 1: Update lead tag using form parameters

Set Tag ID to identify lead tag, select Body Type as 'Form', then provide Name (required), optionally Order and Color.

Example 2: Update lead tag using raw JSON body

Set Tag ID, select Body Type as 'JSON' and provide the entire JSON object string with the desired tag attributes.
