Summary

Create a category in the AgentBrains knowledge base by sending its name, description, category type, and policy, with optional parent and permissions settings.

Inputs

• Name (required) — Name for the new category.
• Description (required) — Description for the category.
• Category Type Name or ID (required) — Select a category type or provide its ID.
• Policy Name or ID (required) — Select a policy or provide its ID.
• Parent Category Name or ID — Optionally select a parent category or provide its ID.
• Permissions — Optional JSON object for permissions, including canDelete and canChangeHierarchy boolean fields.

Output shape

A single output item containing the category creation API response as JSON.

The node sends a POST request to the AgentBrains knowledge base categories endpoint. If Permissions is provided as a string, it must contain valid JSON representing an object.
