Summary

Set or unset a custom field on an Air board using a plain value for text or date fields, or value IDs for select fields. Sends a PUT request to the board’s custom field endpoint.

Inputs

• Board ID (required) — ID of the board to update.
• Custom Field ID (required) — ID of the custom field to apply.
• Value — Plain value for a text or date field. Omit when using Value IDs; an empty value is not sent.
• Value IDs (Comma-Separated) — One or more IDs for select or multi-select fields, separated by commas. Whitespace is trimmed; blank entries are ignored. Omit when using Value.

Output shape

A single API response record.

The request sends either value or values (an array of {id} objects), based on which input is provided. If both are provided, Value IDs are omitted when Value is nonblank; Value is omitted when Value IDs are nonblank. If neither is provided, neither field is sent, allowing the API to handle an unset field. The response body shape is determined by the Air API.
