Amazon PA-API EnhancedInstall

Summary

Search for Amazon items using keywords within a specified category and retrieve selected product information fields.

Inputs

• Keywords (required) — Keywords to search for items.
• Search Index — Category to search within (e.g., Electronics, Books, All). Defaults to 'All'.
• Item Count — Number of items to return, between 1 and 50. Defaults to 10.
• Resources to Include — Select which product information fields to retrieve such as title, features, images, prices, availability, condition, customer reviews, and more. Defaults to Title, medium primary image, and price.
• Additional Options — Optional filters including item condition (e.g., New, Used), merchant (All or Amazon), currency code (e.g., USD, EUR), and language code (e.g., en_US, nl_NL).

Output shape

a JSON object containing the search operation type, the number of items returned, an array of items matching the search with their requested data fields, and the raw API response.

The API returns up to the requested item count (max 50). Each item includes fields according to the selected 'Resources to Include' and may contain nested structures such as images, offers, product info, categories, and customer reviews. Errors are raised if required inputs such as Keywords are missing or if the Amazon API call fails.
