Summary

Create a scheduled monitor that watches a specified URL, site, or Wire action for changes at a defined interval.

Inputs

• URL (required) — The URL to watch; for site scope, this is the root URL, for wire scope, the Wire site's URL.
• Interval (Minutes) (required) — Frequency in minutes at which to check for changes; must be at least 15.
• Additional Options — Optional settings including scope (page, site, or wire), watch mode (full page or specific data), AI filtering options, alert recipients, crawl depth and max pages for site scope, output JSON schema for specific data watch mode, session ID for authenticated monitoring, browser rendering flag, proxy country, expiration date, include/exclude URL patterns, Wire action details, and more.

Output shape

a single JSON object containing the monitor creation result including monitor details and status

Returns the API response with a success flag and details of the created monitor record.

Examples

Example 1: Create a monitor for a webpage every hour with AI noise filtering and email alerts

Set URL to the page to monitor, interval to 60, enable AI Mode with a meaningful AI Goal, and provide alert emails.
