AI-generatedSummary
Create a Nextcloud share for a file or folder and return the share record. Choose a public link, internal user, group, or email share; internal user shares can optionally set a recipient-side target folder using the antonyapi plugin.
Inputs
- Path (required) — Path to the file or folder to share in Nextcloud.
- Share Type (required) — Choose Public Link, User (internal), Group, or Email (link + notification).
- Share With (required) — Recipient username, group name, or email address for user, group, and email shares. For users and groups, the node looks up a matching Nextcloud ID; ambiguous matches require an exact name or internal ID.
- Permissions — Share permission level: Read Only (default), Read + Edit, Read + Edit + Share, or All.
- Zielpfad (Zielordner beim Empfänger) — For internal user shares only, optionally place or rename the shared folder at this path relative to the recipient’s Nextcloud root. Requires the antonyapi plugin and appropriate admin access.
- Additional Options — Optional password, expiry date (YYYY-MM-DD), recipient note, public-link label, or public upload permission for a shared folder.
Output shape
A single share record per input item.
The record is returned as JSON from the Nextcloud OCS API. When a target folder is set on an internal user share, the result also includes targetFolder. The node checks the source path to determine whether it is a file or folder before creating the share.
