Summary

Fetches App Store reviews for one or more apps from the selected country storefront, then returns each review as an n8n item. Supply at least one Apple Product ID or an app name; IDs take precedence when both are provided.

Inputs

  • Apple Product IDs — Numeric App Store IDs to fetch reviews for; you can add multiple IDs. When IDs are supplied, App Name is ignored.
  • App Name — Free-form app name used to resolve a top match when no Product IDs are supplied. At least one ID or a non-empty name is required.
  • Country Store — Storefront country, defaulting to United States (us).
  • Sort Order — Order iOS reviews by most recent, helpful, critical, or favorable; macOS reviews are always most recent. Defaults to most recent.
  • Maximum Reviews per App — Maximum reviews to return per app; defaults to 100. Set to 0 for unlimited (approximately 1,250 iOS or 500 macOS reviews).
  • Start Page — 1-based page to start fetching from; defaults to 1.
  • Include macOS Apps — Whether to include macOS app reviews; defaults to true.
  • Normalize Review Dates to ISO — Whether to add an ISO 8601 date field alongside the returned locale-formatted date; defaults to true.
  • Parse Helpfulness Counts — Whether to parse numeric helpful and total vote counts from helpfulness text; defaults to true.
  • Output — Choose Simplified (default), Raw, or Selected Fields. Simplified returns rating, title, text, author, app version, ISO review date, country, and product ID. Raw returns all fields. Selected Fields returns chosen review fields.
  • Fields to Include — Available only with Selected Fields. Choose review fields; product_id and review_date_iso are included even if not selected.
  • Authentication — Apify API key or OAuth2 authentication; defaults to API Key.

Output shape

A list of review items, one per fetched review.

Simplified and selected output may contain null values for requested fields absent from a review. Raw output preserves all fields returned by the actor. The operation starts an Apify actor run, waits for it to finish, and reads its dataset results.
