Crypto (BoltX)Install

Summary

Compares a plaintext password with a bcrypt hash for each input item and returns whether they match.

Inputs

• Password (required) — Plaintext password to check. bcrypt uses at most the first 72 bytes; the field supports expressions and defaults to an empty string.
• Hash (required) — Stored bcrypt hash to compare against; the field supports expressions and defaults to an empty string.
• Output Field — Name of the output property. Defaults to valid when blank.

Output shape

One output item per input item, each containing a boolean result property.

The result property is named valid by default, or uses the trimmed Output Field value. An empty hash returns false. With Continue On Fail enabled, errors produce an item with an error field; otherwise the operation throws.
