Summary

Creates an email campaign draft in the selected Boomerang location using an existing template, inline content, or a blank campaign. Dry Run resolves the required campaign details and returns the request without creating the draft.

Inputs

• Location (required) — The sub-account/location to use, loaded from the agency credential.
• Campaign Name (required) — Name for the new campaign.
• Content Source — Choose an existing template, inline content, or a blank campaign.
• Template (ID or Name) (required) — For the Existing Template source, provide a template ID or an exact name match, ignoring case. Names are resolved separately in each location.
• Editor Type — HTML or Plain Text. The API supports these editor types; starting from a drag-and-drop builder template is unverified and is flagged in the output.
• Content (required) — For Inline Content, provide the HTML or plain text campaign body.
• Time Zone — IANA time zone for campaign timing. Leave blank to use the location's business-profile time zone.
• Acting User Name or ID — User recorded as performing the action. If left as None, the node selects an active location admin, or another active user if no admin is available.
• Additional Fields — Optionally set a Folder ID for the draft or an Acting User Display Name to override the recorded name.
• Dry Run — Resolve the campaign details and return the request without creating a draft.

Output shape

A single campaign result or, in Dry Run mode, the resolved request.

Campaign creation uses the selected location's API context. Template names must match exactly one template in that location, ignoring case.
